Miguel Ángel Pérez

I am a biology student who last year decided to start in wildlife photography and is currently trying to go deeper into it, progressing step by step.

I love seeing and photographing animals, going to hidden places and knowing areas where I have not been. I have met a lot of people in this short period of time, and I hope to meet more people with whom to share moments and experiences.

Lasse Kurkela

Lasse Kurkela

I’m 15 years old (born 2003) school student & nature photographer living in small town Kauniainen, near Helsinki, Finland.

As long as I can remember I have been interested in nature and visited different nature locations with my family. I started to take nature photographs in 2010. In 2011 I was for the first time in a photohide photographing wolverines and bears. January 2012 my father taught me how to use a professional camera in manual mode and large lenses to photograph animals. Since that I have been very excited and actively photographing with my father in different places and gotten a lot of memorable moments in nature. I use my camera in full manual mode and take pictures in RAW format and use Adobe Lightroom software for editing.

My first ever own photograph exhibition was set up in May 2013 and was in my home towns Town Hall exhibition area.

I have participated and also awarded in many photography competitions, including: Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Memorial Maria Louisa, Festival de l’Oiseau de la Nature, Asferico, Oasis Photo Contest, IFWP, GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Siena International Photo Awards, Narava, Milvus Nature Photography Contest, MontPhoto and Vuoden luontokuva in Finland.

Egoitz Ikaza

Since he started at the age of seven, doing wildlife photography, a hobby he inherited from his father, Egoitz Ikaza (21 years old) has accumulated on the other side of the viewfinder hundreds of species, landscapes and stories mainly related to bird photography, nevertheless he never lets pass up the chance to portray any animal species that crosses in front of his eyes and his camera.

With his photographs he tries to highlight and show the importance of the species of our environment, as a way of knowledge and enhancement of the natural spaces that surround us.

As time goes by, he has been acquiring more knowledge, leaving aside a documentary photography style and focusing into something new, giving his images the necessary to achieve the difference among an attractive picture into a really impressive ones.

At the age of 20, he was pleased to partnership with Olympus brand by testing its equipment, what made Egoitz take the decision to change his equipment brand due to the quality, ergonomics of the equipment and service received. As a result, he had the opportunity to be a speaker at the FIO trade show, one of the most important ornithological tourism fairs in Europe.

Egoitz has been awarded in many national and international competitions, including MontPhoto, Maria Luisa Memorial and Fotoaves organized by SEO birding.

Llorenç Ballester

Hello! I am a young photographer who lives in Mallorca and I combine the love of photography with the study of biology, subjects that are fortunately closely related. I started relatively recently, first observing and delighting with the photos of great photographers and then trying to represent moments of nature that seem beautiful or memorable and that I believe should remain immortalized in images. There is still a lot to learn and share, and as always, better in company.

Luca Melcarne

My name is Luca Melcarne. I am 19 years old and I am French.

I have been doing photography since I was 12 years old. But I am passionate about nature since my youngest age. I love the mountain and its wildlife that lives there. The mountain is one of the medium that is still the least modified by man. And it’s easy to escape the human once there. In my photos I like to have natural animal behaviors. I also love playing with the light. Which is for me an incredible source for a photographer.
